Drooghe Weert Beach Access is for true nature lovers seeking tranquility. The beach entrance is located near a nature reserve and bird sanctuary where Stonechats breed every spring. You can enjoy beautiful walks or bike rides through the dunes here. The villages of Groote Keeten and Callantsoog are easily reachable by bike. In the vicinity, you’ll find mini-campgrounds, and a bit further, Julianadorp with restaurants and shops.

At cafetaria Duinzicht, there is ample parking available where parking is free. From this parking lot, it’s only a 5-6 minute walk to the beach. If it’s very crowded, we recommend not parking your car on the south side of the ditch, as indicated above the red field under the “P.” You can receive a parking fine in this area.
The beach is most easily accessible by bicycle, where you can find ample bicycle parking. From the bicycle parking area, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the beach.
Unfortunately, there is no Coast Bus stop at this beach entrance.
This beach entrance is not suitable for people with disabilities due to the lack of facilities.
